This 2 plus inch long fossil shark tooth comes from the extinct fossil shark Otodus obliquus. Otodus was a form of Mackerel Shark that is thought to be an ancestor of the modern Great White Shark. This specimen is from the Cretaceous Period, 65-145 million years ago.
