Our authentic fossil collections are used by colleges for course study and by individuals interested in learning about fossils. All school grades including home school parents like to use the collection sets to teach and inspire. We currently have four different size sets in our fossil collections. We have 12, 25, 50, and 100 piece fossil sets. Each collection builds upon the one before it. So, everything that is in the 12 piece set is in the 25 piece set and everything that is in the 25 piece set is in the 50 piece set and so on.
Most kids and adults are tactile. They need to touch things in order to learn. That is why we are always touching things.
Included in each set is a 4x5 inch card with a small time chart and a brief introduction to fossils.
The fossils in the sets are each placed in a separate bag with a label which gives the common name, Latin Name, Classification, Time Period, Age, Location the fossil is from. Also included is a chart showing the information above.
NOTE: Each fossil collection has the same number of fossils. The size and condition of the fossils in each kit will vary. The photos show a sample kit collection and is not the exact collection you will receive.
